Job summary

Bank of China (Hong Kong) seeks an experienced risk leader to oversee the Risk Control Unit for personal banking. You will remediate AML, operational and compliance risk, and drive cross-channel process improvements using data and new technologies.

Responsibilities include coordinating risk management projects, aligning controls with regulatory requirements, and collaborating with local/regional units to optimize processes and governance across the bank's front and back offices.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree or above in business, finance, risk management or related discipline.
Professional qualification in risk management or compliance preferred.
Experience in banking risk controls and cross-channel processes.

Responsibilities

Oversee Risk Control Unit through reviews of personal banking processes to identify gaps and strengthen controls.
Lead process transformation, leveraging data and new technologies for risk forecasting and resilience.
Coordinate with departments to implement workflow risk management across regulatory and compliance areas.
Identify gaps in risk controls, provide optimization recommendations, harmonize regional measures.
Collaborate with regional units to review processes for compliance, product management and operations.
Analyze market regulations and customer feedback to drive process optimization and regtech adoption.
