Job summary

CICC is seeking an IPO Operations professional in Hong Kong to coordinate end-to-end IPO and bond issuance processes with ECM/DCM, IBD, and back-office teams. You will review agreements and ensure strong internal controls while aligning with external regulations.

The role requires proactive, multilingual communication and the ability to work under pressure, delivering solutions and feedback for policy implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above.
• At least 2 years’ relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with ECM/DCM, IBD Teams, and back-office functions to complete the whole process of the IPO issuance; primary bond issuance and placing deal from front to back to ensure trades settled successfully.
• Review agreements and provide comments from an operational perspective.

Job description

• Ensure all processes are within proper internal control and in compliance with external rules and regulations


• Assist management in the implementation of policies and procedures and provide feedback on resource requirements and allocation

Knowledge

• Thorough understanding of IPO operations and Listing Rules


• Experience in operating HKEx FINI platform for the submission of Placee List, Letter of Independence etc.


• Relevant experience in working in HK IPO as a Settlement Agent & overseas markets is an advantage


• Well-versed in IPO listing process and be in a position to offer solutions

Skills and Abilities

• Good communication skills in Putonghua, Cantonese and English


• Proactive and self-motivated. Take initiative to study and research on new market and new business model


• Good team player with adequate inter-personal skills


• Able to work independently under pressure and tight deadlines


• Good problem-solving skills and follow-up skills


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
