Job summary

AAA Global, a macro and commodities hedge fund in Hong Kong, is seeking an Operations Analyst to support daily trading operations across global macro and commodity markets. You will work closely with portfolio managers, traders and external counterparties to ensure accurate trade capture, settlement and reconciliations.

The role requires 3-5 years of relevant experience, strong Excel skills, and comfort working in a fast-paced trading environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant operations or middle-office experience within a hedge fund, asset manager, trading firm or investment bank.
• Currently based in Hong Kong.
• Hands-on experience supporting macro or commodity products, particularly exchange-traded futures and options.
• Strong understanding of trade settlement, reconciliations, margin and collateral management.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to resolve issues in a fast-paced trading environment.
• Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with investment teams and counterparties.
• Strong Excel skills; Python, SQL or VBA experience would be an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Support the full trade lifecycle across futures, options, FX and OTC derivatives, including trade capture, confirmation, clearing and settlement.
• Perform daily cash, position and trade reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Monitor margin, collateral and funding requirements across prime brokers, clearing brokers and counterparties.
• Manage futures rolls, contract expiries, option exercises and delivery-related deadlines.
• Liaise with brokers, custodians and fund administrators to ensure accurate records and timely resolution of operational issues.
• Support daily P&L reconciliation, NAV reviews and month-end processes.
• Strengthen operational controls and improve workflows through automation.
