Job summary

BBVA in Hong Kong is seeking an operations-focused professional to support Equity Derivatives and Macro Trading and Sales. You will manage structured products lifecycle, trade capture, client service and P&L reporting.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a cross-functional environment; proficiency in Python or VBA is a plus. You will also perform reconciliations, client confirmations, regulatory reporting and system enhancements

Qualifications

• Experience in operating lifecycle of financial products, preferably structured products.
• Ability to collect and manage documentation and perform reconciliations.
• Familiarity with risk controls and regulatory considerations.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for equity derivatives and macro trading teams in Hong Kong.
• Manage life cycle activities for structured products and ensure timely settlements.
• Capture trades accurately and send confirmations to clients.
• Assist with KYC/document collection for new broker requests.
• Perform trade and cash reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support regulatory reporting and collaborate with front office and IT to improve systems.
