Job summary

Nityo Infotech Limited is seeking an experienced Business Analyst for the Hong Kong market. The role focuses on insurance domain projects, particularly payments and claims, requiring the ability to drive initiatives with minimal supervision.

You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders and IT teams to elicit requirements, document solutions, and ensure timely, quality delivery. Proactive problem-solving and training responsibilities may be included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of BA experience in the insurance domain.
• Experience on payment and/or claims projects.
• Able to lead projects independently with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

• Execute technical and business projects across stakeholders, developing analysis for process and project improvements.
• Build consensus and facilitate discussion with stakeholders and IT teams.
• Elicit business requirements, perform impact analysis, and document end-to-end solutions.
• Translate user requirements into documentation or user stories for development and testing.
• Monitor progress and address deviations in project schedule with contingency planning.
• Oversee testing activities and user acceptance to ensure quality delivery.
• Handle user inquiries and production issues.
• Prepare training materials and conduct user training.
• Collaborate with peers to balance assignments and assist on higher-priority work.
• Plan agendas and drive end-to-end meetings with peers.

Must-have criteria:

• Minimum 6 years of relevant BA work experience –
• Must be from insurance with domain knowledge
• Payment and/or claims project exposure
• Able to drive and take lead in projects independently with minimal guidance

• Any IT/technical background
• Upfront experience

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for executing technical and business projects across multiple stakeholders, developing analysis to support process and project improvements.
• Build consensus and facilitate discussion with related stakeholders and IT development teams.
• Elicit business requirements, perform impact analysis, propose and document end-to-end solutions.
• Analyze, organize and translate user requirements in proper documentation or user stories to facilitate system development and testing.
• Monitor work progress and identify possible deviations of project schedule and assist supervisor in formulating solutions for contingency.
• Manage and monitor the testing activities, user acceptance tests to ensure enhanced systems meet the requirement specifications and in good quality delivery.
• Handle user enquiries and production issues.
• Prepare training materials and conduct user training.
• Shared Responsibilities work with peers to balance assignments. Assist peers on higher priority assignments
• Plan agenda and drive meetings/discussion with peers (end to end meeting)
