Job summary

Airport Authority Hong Kong invites a capable professional to join as Operation Officer, Innovation & Ramp Process Optimisation. You will support airfield innovation projects, coordinate with contractors, and provide logistics for site visits and demonstrations at HKIA.

You will maintain records, support procurement and invoicing, and assist with admin processes and procedures. Degree holders welcome; fresh graduates considered; bilingual English/Chinese with Putonghua is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Degree holders in any discipline are welcome to apply; fresh graduates will be considered.
• Associate Degree / Higher Diploma with 2+ years' relevant experience, or secondary education with 4+ years' relevant experience, may be considered for Operation Officer.
• Associate Degree / Higher Diploma without required experience, or secondary education with 2+ years' work experience, may be considered for Operation Officer Trainee.
• Experience in airfield operations is preferred.
• Good command of English and Chinese; Putonghua is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Holder of HK Driving License with Class 1 and 2 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of airfield innovation and ramp process optimisation projects (e.g., Airfield Autonomous Transportation and Ground Services Equipment Pooling).
• Coordinate and liaise with project contractors and stakeholders to support project transition and delivery.
• Provide logistical support for site visits and demonstrations to showcase airfield innovation at HKIA.
• Maintain records and databases for information management, traceability and reporting.
• Support procurement activities, financial reporting and invoice processing in accordance with procedures.
• Provide administrative support to the team including managing office hardware/software, issuing airfield circulars and staff instructions, updating procedures and manuals.

Provide administrative support to the team, including managing office hardware and software resources, issuing airfield circulars and staff instructions, preparing amendments to procedures and manuals, and facilitating document review and circulation processes

Requirements:

Candidates with an Associate Degree / Higher Diploma and at least 2 years' relevant experience, or secondary education with at least 4 years' relevant experience, may be considered for the position of Operation Officer

Candidates with an Associate Degree / Higher Diploma without the required experience, or secondary education with at least 2 years' work experience, may be considered for the position of Operation Officer Trainee

Experience in airfield operations is preferred

Good team player with proactive attitude

Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese with knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage

Proficient in Microsoft Office application

Holder of valid HK driving license with Class 1 and 2 is preferred
