Job summary

Bank of China (Hong Kong) is looking for a diligent analyst to support AML data quality checks, validation and updates in daily operations.

You will assist in the closure of personal and corporate accounts, and monitor onboarding risk assessments while ensuring compliance with confidentiality and information security requirements. The role suits detail-oriented individuals with a can-do attitude and strong Chinese and English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related discipline.
• 1–2 years’ frontline/back-office banking experience.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to handle multiple information under tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Chinese and English (written and spoken).
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; familiarity with AI tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support data quality checks, validation and updates.
• Assist closure of accounts and customer relationships in AML compliant processes.
• Participate in AML project work, testing and data collection.
• Assist with account opening risk assessment and monitoring for onboarding.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Support data quality checking, validation and data updates.
• Support operational process of the closure of personal and corporate accounts, or the termination of customer relationships in accordance with AML requirements and instructions from relevant parties.
• Participate in process enhancement, system testing, data collection, and other AML related projects.
• Support the account opening risk assessment and monitoring for new customer on-boarding .
• Comply with internal and regulatory requirements relating to confidentiality, personal data protection and information security.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related discipline.
• 1-2 years’ relevant experience in frontline / back office operation in Banking / Finance industry.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and be able to manage numerous information and achieve the tight deadline.
• Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English.
• Proficient in computer software operations (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AI tools, etc.)is preferred.
