Job summary

Atlas Technica in Hong Kong is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our growing Support team. This is a hands-on, client-facing role providing dedicated onsite IT support, systems administration, and infrastructure assistance within a client environment.

You will work closely with Systems Engineers and Client Technology Managers to resolve tickets, maintain security standards, and deliver a high-quality service experience for hedge funds and investment firms we serve.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in desktop support, systems engineering, or related IT role.
• Strong end-user and desktop support across Windows, Office, devices, and common workplace tech.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 environments (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Intune, Entra ID).
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and related admin tech.
• Experience with endpoint protection or threat-management solutions.
• Basic understanding of virtualization (VMware or Hyper‑V).
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, LAN/WAN, firewalls.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work onsite full-time in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT support to users within the client environment.
• Manage and resolve support requests via the ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot end-user issues across Windows, Office, desktops, and mobile devices.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365 environments (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Intune, Teams, Entra ID).
• Support Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, identity management, and endpoint management.
• Escalate complex issues to Senior Engineers and collaborate with technical teams.
• Maintain accurate ticket notes and client-environment records; follow security standards and change-control procedures.
• Communicate status, risks, and resolutions to users and Client Technology Managers.
• Participate in onsite infrastructure initiatives, deployments, and upgrades as required.
