Job summary

Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Ltd is seeking an Onboarding specialist to support Relationship Managers with documentation, CDD and SOW processes. You will ensure accurate client setup, perform upgrades in PvB systems, and maintain high control standards across onboarding activities.

The role emphasizes strong AML/compliance awareness, English/Chinese proficiency, and a collaborative approach with global teams. HK-based, with flexible working options where offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in business, finance or related discipline.
• At least 2 years' experience in account opening and system updates.
• Expert knowledge of PvB products and services.
• Strong banking operations background and control awareness.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality onboarding support and advisory to RMs on documentation and CDD/SOW.
• Deliver service excellence to stakeholders across onboarding processes.
• Perform client maintenance and static data checks and updates.
• Review signing arrangements and identify control gaps for management review.
• Escalate compliance requirements and ensure end-to-end process controls.
