Job summary

HKR International Limited is seeking a qualified candidate in Discovery Bay to supervise building maintenance and repair operations. You will manage routine maintenance tasks, coordinate with contractors, and ensure compliance with tenant fitting out work.

Job description

The incumbent will be responsible for organizing and supervising routine repair, maintenance, alternation and additional works and renovation for DB Plaza, DB North Plaza, the Public Recreational Facilities in Discovery Bay and the DB North Common Road ("Sites") including ad hoc repair and maintenance works for the Sites, prepare duty roster of technicians and perform inspection on tenant’s fitting out work.

Responsibilities:

• Assist technical manager to organize and supervise routine repair and maintenance, alternation and additional works and renovation for managed area;
• Prepare tender and coordinate with contractors in the carrying out of the maintenance and alteration works for the Sites;
• Perform inspection on tenant’s fitting out work to ensure compliance with agreed requirements;
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Certificate or Diploma in Building Surveying, Building Services, Building Construction or equivalent with 2 years relevant experience;
• Experience in building repair and maintenance field preferable in commercial building will be an advantage;
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese;
• Holder of a driving license preferable.

Less experience will be considered for the post of Associate Officer – Technical

Work Location: Discovery Bay
