Job summary

Seamatch Asia Limited is seeking a Securities Settlement professional to manage daily settlement and corporate actions for cash equities on HK and US markets. The role includes handling settlement for bonds, ELN, and ELI, and supporting interbank transfers with precise pacs.009 templates.

The candidate should have a finance-related degree, knowledge of HK/US markets, and strong English and Chinese communication, with attention to detail and independence in day-to-day tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, accounting or business preferred.
• 1+ year securities operations experience preferred; fresh graduates considered if they know investment products.
• Good knowledge of HK and US stock markets a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, independent and self-motivated.
• Strong written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily settlement and corporate actions for cash equities, including HK and US markets.
• Handle settlement and corporate actions for investment products such as bonds, ELN and ELI.
• Assist fund transfers between correspondent banks by creating instruction templates and generating pacs.009 messages.
• Optimize and streamline workflow.
• Update internal guidelines and procedure manuals.
• Carry out ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned by the Team Head.

Requirements

• Degree holder in related disciplines, such as finance, accounting or business, is preferred
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in securities operations is preferred, but fresh graduates will be considered if have sound knowledge of investment products
• Sound knowledge in HK and US stock markets is preferred
• Good interpersonal skills and problem solving skills
• Attention to details, responsible, independent and self-motivated
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
