Job summary

Seamatch Asia Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Securities Settlement professional to handle daily settlement and corporate actions across HK and US stock markets. The role also covers settlement for bonds, ELN, and ELI, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

The candidate will work closely with banks to transfer funds, update guidelines, and support ad-hoc projects under the Team Head, requiring attention to detail and strong English/Chinese communication.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in finance, accounting or business preferred.
• 1 year of securities operations experience preferred; fresh graduates considered if knowledgeable.
• Sound knowledge of HK and US stock markets preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
• Detail oriented, responsible, independent and self-motivated.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

• Handle the settlement and corporate actions for investment products, such as bond, ELN and ELI
• Assist in fund transfer between correspondent banks by creating instruction templates and generating correct pacs.009
• To optimize and streamline work flow
• Update internal guidelines and procedure manuals
• Perform any ad-hoc duty and project as assigned by the Team Head

Requirements

• Degree holder in related disciplines, such as finance, accounting or business, is preferred
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in securities operations is preferred, but fresh graduates will be considered if have sound knowledge of investment products
• Sound knowledge in HK and US stock markets is preferred
• Good interpersonal skills and problem solving skills
• Attention to details, responsible, independent and self-motivated
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
