Job summary

ManpowerGroup Hong Kong is seeking a Network Administrator to manage BAU changes for firewall and security groups, plus maintenance of network devices for a telecommunications client in Lantau, Hong Kong.

The ideal candidate should hold CCNA or CCNP, have at least 3 years of network administration and support experience, and be proficient in Cantonese and English, with strong troubleshooting and vendor coordination skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of solid experience in network administration and support.
• CCNA or CCNP certification is required.
• Experience in firewall management (Checkpoint, Fortinet, Cisco Firepower).
• Strong troubleshooting skills in network environments.
• Proficiency in Chinese (Cantonese) and English.

Responsibilities

• MACD operations for firewall devices and security groups in cloud.
• Manage AWS and Azure security groups with post-change troubleshooting.
• Execute switch port changes, patching, and cable management.
• Provide onsite hardware installation, decommissioning, and SOP-based deployments.
• Coordinate with Telecom Providers for circuits and CPE.

Location: Lantau

Job Nature:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and fulfilling Business As Usual (BAU) change requests related to firewall and security groups, network switch ports, hardware installation, and maintenance of network devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Firewalls & Cloud Security: Perform MACD (Move, Add, Change, Delete) operations for Checkpoint, Fortinet, and Cisco Firepower. Manage security groups in AWS & Azure, and handle post-change troubleshooting with requestors.
• Switch Port & Cabling: Execute switch port changes for user and server switches, carry out cable patching, conduct port troubleshooting, and coordinate with cabling vendors.
• Hardware Installation & Decommission: Provide onsite support for hardware rack mounting, unmounting, and device deployment following standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Network Devices & Telecom: Coordinate with Telecom Service Providers to provision and maintain telecom circuits and Customer Premises Equipment (CPE).

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 year solid experience in network administration and support.
• CCNA or CCNP certification is required.
• Experience in firewall management (Checkpoint, Fortinet, Cisco Firepower, etc.).
