Job summary

ConnectedGroup Limited in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Network Manager to lead planning, delivery and governance of enterprise network and infrastructure initiatives across a complex environment.

You will shape infrastructure strategy, drive modernization, and ensure reliable, secure, and scalable network services while collaborating with technology and business stakeholders to meet current and future needs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years in network and infrastructure management.
• At least 5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
• Experience with LAN/WAN, DNS, VPN, Wi‑Fi, SDN and VoIP.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Alibaba Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, implementation, and governance of enterprise network and infrastructure projects.
• Oversee infrastructure enhancement initiatives to improve reliability, performance, security, and resilience.
• Partner with stakeholders, project teams, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure successful execution.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users to facilitate communication and decisions.
• Ensure designs support scalability, maintainability, service continuity and growth.
• Provide leadership across network infrastructure including OT where applicable.
• Support architecture reviews and governance to align with standards and objectives.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to manage infrastructure risks and security controls.
• Oversee readiness of routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.
• Manage vendor engagement, procurement, RFP/RFQ, contracts, and evaluations.
• Maintain standards, procedures and guidelines to support governance.

They are seeking an experienced Network Manager to lead the planning, delivery, and governance of enterprise network and infrastructure initiatives across a complex and business-critical environment.

This role offers the opportunity to shape infrastructure strategy, drive modernization programmes, and work closely with technology and business stakeholders to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable network services that support both current and future operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, design, implementation, and governance of enterprise network and infrastructure projects.
• Oversee infrastructure enhancement initiatives to improve reliability, performance, security, and operational resilience.
• Partner with business stakeholders, project teams, consultants, contractors, and technology vendors to ensure successful project execution.
• Act as a key liaison between technical teams and business users, facilitating communication, issue resolution, and decision-making throughout project lifecycles.
• Ensure infrastructure solutions are designed with scalability, maintainability, service continuity, and future growth requirements in mind.
• Provide leadership across network infrastructure environments, including both traditional IT and operational technology (OT) networks where applicable.
• Support infrastructure architecture reviews and technology governance processes to maintain alignment with enterprise standards and business objectives.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement security controls, manage infrastructure risks, and maintain a secure technology environment.
• Oversee operational readiness of critical network platforms including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless networks, and related technologies.
• Manage vendor engagement, procurement processes, RFP/RFQ activities, contract administration, and solution evaluation.
• Maintain infrastructure standards, documentation, procedures, and operational guidelines to support governance and service excellence.
• Lead and mentor infrastructure professionals while fostering effective collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in network and infrastructure management, including at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.

• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, priorities, vendors, and project streams simultaneously.

• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Alibaba Cloud would be advantageous.
• Additional certifications including PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL are beneficial.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
• Fluency in both English and Cantonese.
