Job summary

Value Partners Ltd seeks an IT Operations/Desktop Support professional to install, configure and maintain company computers and handle desktop issues, including hardware, software, network and access permissions. You will monitor servers, virtualization platforms and data centre infrastructure while supporting incident responses and system go-lives.

The role requires a Bachelor's in CS or related field and at least 1 year of IT operations experience, with strong English, Cantonese and Putonghua

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 1 year of IT operations experience.
• Proficient in Windows 11, macOS, Microsoft Office and other common office software.
• Experienced in Linux/Windows system administration.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server or PostgreSQL database administration is an advantage.
• Familiar with network cabling, switching and routing, data centre infrastructure and virtualization technologies.
• Able to independently troubleshoot and resolve common issues.
• Strong sense of responsibility, execution ability, problem-analysis skills, and communication and collaboration skills.
• Good command of English, Cantonese and Putonghua.

About you
