Job summary

Dah Sing Financial Group in Hong Kong is seeking an Officer, Claims (General Insurance – Motor focus). You will handle Motor insurance claims from initiation to resolution and verify, investigate and assess the validity of claims.

You will liaise with customers and service providers, negotiate settlements with third party claimants, attend Small Claims Tribunal, answer claims hotlines and general enquiries, and provide quality service in line with service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related discipline.
• Non-degree holders with relevant experience will be considered.
• Fresh graduates will be considered.
• Professional insurance qualifications (e.g. IIQE / ACII / ANZIIF) will be an advantage.
• Good command of English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Handle Motor insurance claims from initiation to resolution.
• Verify, investigate and assess validity of claims.
• Liaise with customers and service providers.
• Negotiate settlements with third party claimants.
• Attend Small Claims Tribunal.
• Answer claims hotlines and general telephone enquiries.
• Provide quality service to customers in accordance with the service standards.
• Assist in ad hoc projects and UAT as assigned by supervisors.
