Job summary

Peoplebank Hong Kong Limited is seeking a Middle Office Analyst to drive process analysis, gather requirements, and deliver change initiatives for Private Banking Middle Office teams in Hong Kong. You will bridge operations, technology, and risk to optimize client service and digital solutions.

You will document user stories, map processes, and design UAT tests, while maintaining thorough documentation and audit-ready records.

Qualifications

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of structuring complex operational data.
Excellent written and verbal English, fluent in Cantonese or Mandarin.
High proficiency in MS Office; VBA or data reporting tools a plus.
Solid understanding of risk-and-controls frameworks in private banking Middle Office.
Effective stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams.
Fresh graduates welcome; internships or project work in financial services are an advantage.

Responsibilities

Capture and document detailed business requirements, user stories, and process maps.
Analyze end-to-end Middle Office processes to identify risks and automation opportunities.
Generate MI reports on turnaround times, volumes, and exceptions.
Coordinate cross-functional alignment across Front Office, Operations, Compliance, Risk, and Tech.
Facilitate UAT through test scenarios, evidence, defects, and sign-off tracking.
Maintain documentation, RAID logs, and SOPs for audit readiness.
