Job summary
Delken Group Limited is seeking a Merchandiser in Hong Kong to develop and implement plans with the Buyer, ensuring sales and profit targets. You will review market data, present ranges to senior management, and support orders, with daily liaising to suppliers in China and buyers in Europe.
The role requires experience in range planning, familiarity with PV/Heating/Ventilation, and strong English/Cantonese/Mandarin language skills, along with solid PC proficiency.
Qualifications
- Diploma or above.
- 5+ years in Buying Office/Trading Company.
- Experience in product, packaging & Instruction manual artwork approval.
- Experienced in Range Planning.
- Knowledge of Photovoltaic, Heating, Ventilation & TOOLS preferable.
- Commercial acumen and the ability to decode suppliers.
- Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
- Strong listening, presentation and decision-making skills.
- Excellent PC skills (English and Chinese).
Responsibilities

Our client is one of the overseas buying offices in Hong Kong. Their main business is sanitary, heating and electronic as well as construction. They are currently seeking for a Merchandiser to join their team.
- Develop and agree plans in partnership with the Buyer that achieve sales and profit targets and implement the agreed departmental strategy
- Evaluate market and customer information together with historical data and forward trends to develop the department’s phased plans
- Present the range for review achieving senior management agreement
- Support the team on orders management & administrative work
- Monitor timing of new product development process
- Liaise daily with suppliers in China and buyers in Europe
- Product, packaging & Instruction manual artwork approval
- Diploma or above
- At least 5 years working experience in Buying Office/Trading Company (Professional Field is preferable)
- Experience in product, packaging & Instruction manual artwork approval
- Experienced in Range Planning
- Knowledge and experience of Photovoltaic, Heating, Ventilation & TOOL are preferable
