Job summary

Cobalt Fashion (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a full-time Manager - Merchandising (Sweaters) to join our team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will manage team objectives, cultivate relationships with customers, and oversee the sourcing and product development process.

Ideal applicants will have extensive experience in merchandising, particularly with sweaters, and must possess excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. The role may involve occasional travel.

Job description

We are now seeking for a full‑time Manager - Merchandising (Sweaters) to join our team in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

• Manage the team to achieve division’s business objectives and to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Create and enhance long‑term business relationships with customers to maximize business growth and opportunities.
• Direct the sourcing and product development process, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
• Provide solutions and support to ensure smooth production and manufacturing process.
• Monitor sales performance, budget analysis and implementation.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations for product design and assortment planning.
• Maintain ongoing and regular communication with vendor contacts including resolution of delivery issues with vendor base.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to streamline operations and improve efficiencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Management.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience and independently work with US customers.
• Strong sweater knowledge, and familiar with merchandising and product development process.
• Extensive experience in collaborating with offshore factories.
• Able to work under pressure, result oriented, excellent communication skills, self‑motivated, responsive and detail minded.
• Well organized individual, able to manage multiple tasks, strong problem solving skills, able to meet deadlines.
• Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Occasional travel is required.
