Job summary

Delken Group Limited is seeking a Merchandiser in Hong Kong to develop and implement plans with the Buyer, ensuring sales and profit targets. You will review market data, present ranges to senior management, and support orders, with daily liaising to suppliers in China and buyers in Europe.

The role requires experience in range planning, familiarity with PV/Heating/Ventilation, and strong English/Cantonese/Mandarin language skills, along with solid PC proficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above.
• 5+ years in Buying Office/Trading Company.
• Experience in product, packaging & Instruction manual artwork approval.
• Experienced in Range Planning.
• Knowledge of Photovoltaic, Heating, Ventilation & TOOLS preferable.
• Commercial acumen and the ability to decode suppliers.
• Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
• Strong listening, presentation and decision-making skills.
• Excellent PC skills (English and Chinese).

Responsibilities

• Develop and agree plans with the Buyer to meet sales and profit targets.
• Evaluate market data and forward trends to develop phased plans.
• Present the range for senior management review.
• Support orders management and administrative work.
• Monitor timing of new product development process.
• Liaise daily with suppliers in China and buyers in Europe.
• Approve product, packaging and instruction manual artwork.
