China State Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a Design Manager / Design Engineer (BS) to lead MEP design and coordinate across the full project lifecycle, from concept to handover. The role offers exposure to diverse projects and the chance to mentor junior engineers.

Candidates should have a degree in Electrical/Mechanical or Building Services Engineering, robust MEP design experience, and knowledge of BIM and ISO 19650. HK presence and construction knowledge are valued.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven MEP design experience across varied projects and sectors.
• Experience with design stage guides such as RIBA Plan of Work and BSRIA BG6.
• Strong knowledge of UK regulations and building regulations.

Aufgaben

• Lead or participate in MEP design from concept to handover.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate MEP solutions.
• Review and approve consultant and contractor MEP designs and drawings.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations and sustainability requirements.
• Manage design risks, change control and technical issues.
• Act as primary MEP point of contact for queries.
• Support value engineering to optimise performance and cost.
• Mentor junior engineers and develop best practices.
