Qualifications

• Tertiary level education required.
• Extensive merchandising experience.
• Technical know-how for relevant categories.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Strong negotiator with a commercial mindset.
• Ability to anticipate issues and problem-solve.
• Works well under pressure and meets deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Office/Google Workspace; travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Main contact point to factories to coordinate end-to-end process.
• Define right price and quality per item and generate best value for money.
• Contribute to evaluation and monitor factories for continuous improvement.
• Work with product development team on development and sampling follow-up.
• Manage quotations, price analysis and negotiations within HQ parameters.
• Assist in order allocation within department strategy and HQ framework.
• Monitor end-to-end process and critical path within merchandising and supply chain.
• Manage ordering progress and provide problem solving as needed.
