Job summary

Defond Electrical Industries Limited is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to contribute to mechanical design of products, selecting components and materials, creating 3D/2D drawings, defining specifications, preparing BOMs, supporting NPD and production processes, and maintaining design changes.

You will support project activities with production teams, prepare project documents and reports, and assist in resolving engineering issues, while communicating clearly in English and Mandarin and showing a

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Knowledge of 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Pro/ENGINEER, CATIA.
• Experience in designs like waterproof, HMI, optical parts, sensors; industrial standards advantageous.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn.
• Good problem solving and communication skills with team spirit.
• Strong written and spoken English and Mandarin communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in mechanical design of products, including components, materials, drawings, specifications, BOMs and NPD.
• Support evaluation of products and parts, and help resolve engineering issues.
• Prepare documents and regular project reports.
• Support project activities with project and production teams.
• Assist in ad hoc projects as assigned.
