Job summary

We are seeking a Design Engineer in Hong Kong to prepare shop drawings, coordinate with architects, consultants and subcontractors, and manage drawing submission schedules. You will join a growing team and contribute to efficient design development.

The ideal candidate holds a Higher Diploma or above in construction, with 1–3 years of project management experience, and is proficient in AutoCAD and MS Word/Excel. Knowledge of steel structures and BIM is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or above in Construction related discipline.
• Minimum 1-3 year of experience in project management.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and PC operations such as MS Word, Excel.
• Experience in steel structure, knowledge in BIM will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shop / BD drawings and other documents including drawing approval, calculation approval, approval letters, etc.
• Coordinate with the architect, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical problems
• Attend the contractor meeting and design workshop
• Develop cost-effective design and monitor, manage the drawing submission schedule
• Attend regular inter-department meetings and follow-up matters arises
• Perform other duties or ad hoc task as assigned

Requirements:
