Job summary

Defond Electrical Industries Limited in Hong Kong seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to contribute to design and manufacturing for automotive, home appliance and power tool lines. You will support mechanical design, BOM preparation, material selection, 3D/2D drawings, and production changes with cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong problem solving, good communication in English and Mandarin, and a proactive, learning mindset.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related disciplines.
Knowledge of 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Pro/E, etc.
Experience with molding or designing plastic and metal parts is a plus.
Good problem solving and communication skills with team spirit.
English and Mandarin communication ability.

Responsibilities

Work on design and manufacturing process for Automotive/Home Appliance/Power Tool.
Assist in mechanical design, including components, BOM, drawings, specs, and changes.
Support project and production teams and document progress.
Evaluate products and parts and help resolve engineering issues.
Preparedocuments and regular reports for assigned projects.
