Job summary

OCBC is seeking a senior Corporate Banking leader to head the Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) client portfolio in Hong Kong. You will develop sector-focused strategies to grow market share and profitability, while building deep relationships with founders, promoters, shareholders, and senior executives across the region.

• 18+ years of corporate banking experience.
• Leadership experience with large corporate or multinational clients, preferably in TMT.

Job description

• Lead and manage the Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) client portfolio within the Corporate Banking business of the Wholesale Banking Group.
• Develop and execute a sector-focused business strategy to grow market share, revenue, and profitability within the TMT segment, aligned with the Bank's overall strategic objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, founders, promoters, shareholders, and senior executives of leading TMT companies across the region.
• Identify and originate opportunities across lending, cash management, treasury, trade finance, capital markets, investment banking, sustainable finance, and other value-added banking solutions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding industry trends, digital transformation initiatives, regulatory developments, and strategic business priorities.
• Monitor industry developments, competitive landscape, and emerging risks within the TMT sector to proactively identify opportunities and manage risk exposures.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, integrity, accountability, and client-centricity while developing a high-performing team capable of delivering sustainable business growth.

What we are looking for:

• Minimum 18 years of corporate banking experience, with significant leadership experience covering large corporate or multinational clients, preferably within the TMT sector,
• Proven track record in corporate lending, relationship management, and business development.
• Extensive experience in credit assessment, portfolio management, and risk governance.
• Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capability.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong credit analysis and structuring expertise.
