Job summary

Glasford Shipping (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking an Operations Officer to manage voyage operations for Voyage Charter (VC) and Time Charter (TC) fixtures across oil and gas tanker sectors. You will coordinate with shipowners and port agents to ensure smooth loading, discharge, and compliance with safety standards.

The role requires strong commercial sense, clear communication in English and Chinese (Mandarin preferred), and the ability to work under pressure. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Strong business and commercial sense with ability to work across units.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Proficient in English and Chinese (Mandarin preferred).
• Immediate availability or short notice period is advantageous.

• Candidates with less experience may be considered for Assistant Operations Officer.

Responsibilities

• Manage voyage operations for Voyage Charter and Time Charter fixtures across oil and gas tanker sectors.
• Liaise with shipowners to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
• Contact the shipping agent to ensure smooth cargo loading and unloading at each port.
• Maintain communication with Trading Department to identify and report risks in transportation services.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
