Job summary

Yun Lee Marine Holdings Limited seeks a Marine Operations Officer to supervise vessel operations, ensure safety, quality and environmental compliance, and coordinate with suppliers. The role includes organising safety trainings, inspections, maintenance, and managing dry-docking schedules for cost-effective timely completion.

The candidate should have a Diploma or above in mechanical engineering or maritime studies, at least 1 year in maritime industry, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in mechanical engineering, maritime studies or related disciplines.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in related maritime industry.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist to manage and supervise technical aspects of vessel operations, ensuring safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Organise and conduct regular safety training, inspections and maintenance.
• Procure spare parts and maintain stock for fleet team and resource allocation.
• Oversee dry-docking, repairs, and maintenance schedules for cost-effective timely completion.
• Develop and implement technical guidelines, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
• Coordinate and manage relationships with suppliers and external stakeholders.
• Prepare annual survey for HK Marine Department and Class inspections.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the team leader.
