Job summary

KGI Hong Kong Limited is seeking a junior treasury professional to join our Treasury Department in Central, Hong Kong. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Treasury and gain exposure to a wide range of treasury functions.

Responsibilities include executing FX transactions, managing daily cash and funding, and optimizing liquidity. Candidates should hold a finance-related degree, have 2 years of relevant financial experience, and be fluent in English, Cantonese and Putonghua.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related disciplines.
• MS Office proficiency.
• Fluency in English, Cantonese and Putonghua.

Responsibilities

• Execute foreign exchange transactions.
• Manage daily cash management, including preparing e-banking transactions and monitoring funding position.
• Collaborate with internal parties to arrange the required daily funding.
• Optimize firmwide liquidity and capital management.
• Execute time deposit transactions for yield enhancement.
• Ensure treasury workflows comply with guidelines, policies and statutory requirements.
• Prepare regular reports to head office and management.
• Support treasury systems administration and participate in maintenance/enhancement.
• Perform ad hoc assignments and projects as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Execute foreign exchange transactions
• Manage daily cash management, including but not limited to preparing e-banking transactions and monitoring funding position
• Collaborate with internal parties to arrange the required daily funding
• Optimize firmwide liquidity and capital management
• Execute time deposit transactions for yield enhancement
• Ensure all the treasury workflows and operations are in compliance with related guidelines, policies and statutory requirements
• Prepare regular reports to head office and management
• Support the administration of treasury systems as well as to participate in the system maintenance and enhancement
• Perform ad hoc assignments and projects as assigned

Requirements

• Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related disciplines
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in financial institutions, preferably in the securities or banking industry
• Hands-on experience and knowledge in treasury operations and financing activities
• Ability to perform multiple tasks with tight deadline
• Highly motivated with high attention to details and ability to prioritization
• A good team player with strong interpersonal skills and problem solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Fluency in English, Cantonese and Putonghua
• Candidate with less experience may be considered as an Associate
