Job summary

Bank of Communications Co., Ltd. Hong Kong Branch is seeking a seasoned professional to lead SME credit product development and market analysis.

You will formulate strategies, design trade finance and working capital solutions, and collaborate to ensure compliant, market-leading offerings. The role emphasizes digitization of the credit approval process, close work with relationship managers, and strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ of experience in retail/commercial banking, with at least 3 years in SME credit product experience.
• Degree holder or equivalent qualifications at HKQF level 5 or above.
• Knowledge of personal loan and retail credit products is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify gaps and opportunities in the SME credit market.
• Formulate short-long term product strategies to meet the financing needs of SMEs.
• Design and develop SME credit products, including trade finance, working capital loans and related facilities, aligning with risk appetite.

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify gaps and opportunities in the SME credit market.
• Formulate short-long term product strategies to meet the financing needs of SMEs.
• Design and develop SME credit products, including trade finance, working capital loans and SFGS, ensuring alignment with the bank’s strategic goals and risk appetite.
• Work closely with internal departments in order to comply with the legal and compliance issues for new product launch.
• Work closely with relationship managers to refine product features, pricing and application workflow.
• Drive digitization and automation of credit approval process to enhance customer experience.
• Support the team lead in preparing analysis reports and developing policies.
• Conduct product training, sales tools and various kinds of support to relationship manager.
• Knowledge of personal loan and retail credit products is advantage.
• Degree holder or equivalent qualifications at HKQF level 5 or above.
• Minimum 5 years’ of experience in retail/ commercial banking industry, with at least 3 years in SME credit product experience.
• Strong team player with outstanding analytical, communication and time management skills.

Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Manager.

The above post requires proficiency in English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
