Ascentium Business Solutions (HK) Limited is seeking an experienced Manager/Senior Manager to lead a portfolio of client accounting engagements in Hong Kong. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, manage key client relationships and develop the finance team for growth and operational excellence.

You will oversee onboarding, drive quality-control processes and implement process improvements across accounting systems, while supporting department initiatives and resource planning.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
• HKICPA/CPAA registration preferred.
• At least 10 years of accounting and financial reporting experience in managerial and client-facing roles.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office and accounting systems.

We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Manager / Senior Manager to lead and oversee a portfolio of client accounting engagements. This role will play a key role in ensuring service quality, managing client relationships, developing the team and supporting continued growth and operational excellence of the department.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee a portfolio of client accounting engagements, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of accounting and financial reporting services.

Review management accounts and other key accounting deliverables to ensure quality and compliance with applicable accounting standards.

Act as a senior point of contact for key clients, managing relationships and resolving complex accounting or service-related matters.

Lead, coach and develop team members, ensuring effective work allocation and capability development.

Oversee client onboarding and transition of new engagements, ensuring smooth implementation and service delivery.

Monitor operational risks, deadlines and service quality, and maintain appropriate review and quality-control processes.

Drive process improvement, standardization, automation and effective use of accounting systems to enhance operational efficiency.

Support the Head of Department in resource planning, business development and other departmental initiatives.

Provide support for ad hoc tasks as needed

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.

Registered member of HKICPA, CPAA or equivalent is highly preferred

At least 10 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting, with proven experience in managerial and client-facing role.

Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)

Proficient in the use of MS office and accounting systems
