The role is responsible for planning and executing the global beverage operational standard working in conjunction with the Senior Manager Beverage and Global Director of F&B and Global Beverage leader. The candidate will be accountable for delivering, maintaining and monitoring the high level of service standard. He/she needs to participate in pre-opening beverage design, menu concept and service flow, along with creating innovative and technologically enhanced methods of increasing productivity and service improvements.
What you’ll be doing:
- Support the develop global beverage matrix
- Support the lounge, bar and retail beverage operations
- Create and monitor beverage performance through the network
- Assist all stations with support on tackling ongoing challenges and concerns related to beverages
- Provide beverage operational updates to top management
- Take corrective and preventative action on operational challenges related to beverages faced in all units
- Create and monitor ancillary revenue opportunities for all lounges
- Responsible for wines, champagnes, beers, spirits, liqueurs, fortified wines, vermouths, ciders, cocktails, soft drinks, waters, coffee/tea, juices
- Ensure service standards are maintained
- Participate in the bar designs and providing all aspects of the beverage components of each new project
- Work with global L&D to provide the necessary training materials of beverage operation for pre-opening
- Offer continuous support and special task force in new project
- Source of operating equipment together with procurement
- Source service providers together with procurement
- Set up of all IT systems for POS for bar sales
- Maintain & update beverage Operating Manuals
- Create innovative and technologically enhanced methods of increasing productivity and service improvements
- Ad hoc tasks as required
About you:
- Minimum 5 years' experience at management level in beverage operations
- Diploma or above in hospitality or business administration related discipline
- Experience in fine dining will be an advantage
- Strong knowledge in wine, spirit and cocktail. Professional qualifications and certification will be a credit
- Proactive, enthusiastic and self-motivated with strong sense of responsibility
- Able to work in a highly collaborative team environment
- Strong training and management skills
- Good command of both spoken and written English and ability to speak Mandarin / Cantonese
- Business travel is required
