Job summary

WilliamSELECT is seeking a Retail Director in Hong Kong for a global luxury brand. You will lead strategy, drive sales and profitability, manage a multi-store network, and ensure exceptional client experiences across boutiques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of retail experience with senior leadership in luxury sectors.
• Proven ability to lead a retail network and hit sales/profit targets.
• Strong strategic thinking and financial/analytical skills.
• Experience in luxury retail networks and client development.
• Excellent English and Chinese communication.
• Willingness to travel as required by the business.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute retail strategies aligned with brand objectives, driving sales growth, profitability, and overall business performance.
• Lead annual business planning, budgeting, sales targets, and KPI monitoring across the retail network.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and drive commercial results.
• Oversee retail operations, ensuring cost efficiency, brand standards, and local regulatory compliance.
• Drive retail network development, including new store openings, relocations, and expansion opportunities.
• Drive CRM and client development to enhance acquisition, retention, loyalty, and sales conversion.
• Ensure exceptional client experience and luxury service standards across boutiques.
• Lead and develop the retail team; manage talent acquisition and performance.
• Coach Store Managers and partner with HR; succession planning.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Marketing, CRM, Visual Merchandising, HR, and Finance to optimize inventory and growth.
• Manage landlord relationships and external stakeholders to support expansion.
• Provide regular performance updates and strategic recommendations to senior management.
