Job summary

Hong Kong Executive Search is seeking a Director of Food & Beverage for a luxurious 5-star hotel in Hong Kong. You will oversee all F&B operations, including restaurants, bars, banquets, and room service to provide exceptional guest experiences.

You will lead a talented team, develop innovative strategies, manage budgets, and collaborate with sales and marketing on campaigns while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality, culinary arts, or a related field.
• 7+ years experience in food & beverage management, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent English and Chinese communication (Cantonese/Mandarin).
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful F&B strategies.
• Strong financial acumen with budget management and cost control.
• Knowledge of current health and safety regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement food and beverage strategies that align with the hotel's objectives and goals.
• Manage and lead a team of food and beverage professionals, including chefs, servers, bartenders, and support staff.
• Ensure high-quality food and beverage offerings that meet or exceed guest expectations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality products and competitive pricing.
• Monitor and control food and beverage costs to maximize profitability.
• Develop and implement training programs to ensure staff members are knowledgeable and skilled in their roles.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and standards.
• Regularly review and update menus to provide guests with fresh and innovative food and beverage offerings.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments, such as sales and marketing, to develop and implement promotional campaigns and events.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and developments and implement best practices where appropriate.
• Participate in the hotel's senior management team and contribute to the overall success of the hotel.
