Michael Page International (HK) Ltd is seeking a seasoned Operations Director to lead a growing restaurant portfolio in Hong Kong. You will develop and implement annual business plans, align budgets with corporate goals, and drive profitability across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Business Admin, Hospitality or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in regional operations leadership within chain restaurants.
• Strong knowledge of multi-unit operations and cost controls.
• Proven leadership and ability to develop high-performing teams.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Description

• Develop and execute annual business plans, operational strategies, and budgets for assigned restaurant operations, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget, providing insights and recommendations to drive continuous improvement and business growth.
• Oversee operational expenditures and cost controls to ensure achievement of revenue and profitability targets.
• Lead workforce planning, talent development, succession planning, and organizational capability building across multiple restaurant locations.
• Evaluate staffing requirements and optimize manpower allocation to ensure operational efficiency and service excellence.
• Monitor market trends, customer preferences, competitor activities, and industry developments to support effective business and marketing strategies.
• Drive profitability through effective management of food costs, labor costs, utilities, maintenance expenses, and other operational expenditures.
• Establish and manage performance management systems for regional teams and restaurant operations, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Oversee the implementation and execution of membership, loyalty, and prepaid card sales initiatives to achieve revenue targets.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards, food safety regulations, and customer service excellence.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Regional Operations Director, Operations Head, or equivalent leadership role within a chain restaurant or food & beverage environment.
• Strong knowledge of multi-unit restaurant operations, business management, and operational best practices.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire, develop, and manage high-performing teams.
• Excellent business acumen, strategic planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret operational and financial data to drive decision-making.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Results-oriented, highly accountable, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Proficient in restaurant operating systems, POS platforms, and business reporting tools.
