Job summary

UBS Group AG's APAC electronic trading technology team seeks a seasoned engineer to deliver a low-latency trading platform across APAC. You will translate business and tech requirements into changes across the trading stack and coordinate end-to-end delivery with internal teams, vendors, exchanges, carriers, and clients.

You will work with network and infra teams to shape architecture, provide third-line production support focusing on stability and quick recovery, and build strong relationships

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in electronic trading within the finance sector.
• Strong Python and Unix/Linux skills, including shell scripting.
• Proven track record with FIX messaging in electronic trading environments.
• Deep knowledge of equities trading platforms and the trading life cycle, including low-latency trading and co-location setups.
• Hands-on background across front, middle, and back office systems and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and technology requirements for new venues, functionality, and upgrades into changes across the low-latency trading stack.
• Coordinate end-to-end technical change delivery with internal teams, vendors, stock exchanges, carriers, and clients.
• Partner with network and infrastructure teams to shape architecture and standards based on performance requirements.
• Provide third-level production support with a focus on stability, fast recovery, and client outcomes.
• Build strong working relationships with regional and global technology and business stakeholders across APAC.
