Job summary

Millennium is seeking a Linux Low Latency Systems Engineer to support and evolve a high-performance trading platform. You will work in a globally deployed team, focusing on stable infrastructure, incident resolution, and performance optimization.

You bring 5+ years in financial tech, deep Linux expertise, and strong scripting with Python/Bash; Ansible and related tools are a plus. This role is based in Hong Kong with on-site responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial technology services, including 3+ years supporting low-latency trading systems.
• Deep Linux systems engineering with performance tuning, low-latency networking, BIOS/kernel tuning.
• Experience with enterprise server platforms, VMware ESXi/vCenter, DNS and time synchronization (NTP/PTP).
• GPU/CUDA experience for Linux infrastructure and performance-sensitive workloads.
• Strong Python and Bash, with Ansible; Chef, Puppet, Terraform a plus.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot across the stack and document ops clearly.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; RHCE, cloud experience, Windows–Linux interoperability a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Linux, virtualization, and related infrastructure as part of a global team.
• Build, operate, and improve a high-performance, low-latency trading platform with partners.
• Identify, prioritize, and resolve complex incidents; address root causes to prevent recurrence.
• Gather requirements, evaluate options, and implement solutions aligned with platform needs.
• Deliver clear documentation and participate in on-call support as needed.
