Job summary

JMS UNION FREIGHT PTE. LTD. is seeking a detail-oriented logistics professional to maintain relationships with existing customers and coordinate import air and ocean freight forwarding, ground transportation, warehousing, and related services in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves building strong relationships with liners, owners, brokers, and clients, handling permit declarations, liaising with overseas agents for shipment coordination, and performing month-end invoicing and closings.

Qualifications

• Committed individual to work in a fast-moving company, who is results-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team
• Demonstrate the ability to handle work professionally and efficiently with a strong customer service mindset
• Good interpersonal skills and able to interface with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive manner

Responsibilities

• To maintain relationships with existing customers
• Import Air and Ocean Freight forwarding services
• Ground transportation services
• Warehousing and related services
• Other logistics value-added services (e.g. customs clearance, marine insurance and brokerage services, etc.)
• To build and maintain good business relationships with shipping liners, owners, brokers, and clients
• Permit Declaration
• Liaise with overseas agent for shipment coordination
• Invoicing and closing every end month
