Job summary

RGA, a Fortune 200 reinsurance leader, seeks a Senior Enterprise Risk Manager to establish and enhance risk management in the Hong Kong market under the ERM framework. You will oversee local risks and align with risk appetite, collaborating across country, region, and corporate functions to ensure regulatory compliance.

This role requires strong governance, fluency in English and Mandarin, and a proven track record in risk management, governance, and project leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Math, Statistics, Actuarial Science or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise risk management.
• Fluent English and Mandarin; Korean is a plus.
• Enterprise risk management designation is preferred.
• Experience with risk & control self-assessments and KRIs.
• Strong communication and ability to influence stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and running of ERM program in the local market with risk management collaboration.
• Ensure corporate risk governance adoption in the local market per regulatory requirements.
• Support local management to identify, assess, and manage risks as an independent function for growth.
• Lead local risk-related communications to regional risk management.
• Implement regional and corporate risk management initiatives locally.
• Run local Risk Committees to strengthen oversight and escalate issues.
• Coordinate actions for regulatory inquiries and forward-looking compliance framework.
• Work closely with Regional Financial and Operational Risk Managers on risk assessment.
