Job summary

Public Listed Conglomerate in Hong Kong seeks a Group Senior Enterprise Risk Manager to lead risk governance at the group level.

You will design the risk management framework, oversee risk assessments, and develop business continuity plans across units, promoting risk culture throughout the organization. Excellent English is required; Cantonese/Putonghua desirable.

Qualifications

• Degree in Risk Management, Accounting, Corporate Governance or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of risk management experience in listed or multinational groups.
• Knowledge of HKEx ESG requirements and related matters.
• Professional qualifications in risk management, accounting, corporate governance or ESG are a plus.
• Strong project and change management track record.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Cantonese & Mandarin desirable.
• Candidates with less experience may be considered for Manager level.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement the Group Risk Management Framework.
• Identify emerging risks and perform regular risk assessments.
• Lead reviews of risk guidelines and policies.
• Develop business continuity and crisis management plans.
• Promote risk culture across units and stakeholders.
• Design and conduct risk-based trainings for executives and partners.
• Conduct QA to ensure high-quality risk assessments.
• Prepare ERM reports for the Board Committee.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors on ERM system.
• Assist management with ad-hoc tasks.

About the job Senior Enterprise Risk Manager (Group Level)

A Public Listed Conglomerate listed in Hong Kong with various lines of business is looking for a high-calibre Group Senior Enterprise Risk Manager to join her company.

Responsibilities:

• Design and contribute to the implementation of the Risk Management Framework for the Group
• Identify emerging risks, conduct regular risk assessments, follow up any mitigating actions
• Lead periodic reviews for risk-related guidelines and policies. Identity any risk related problem. Provide advisory and ensure effective risk mitigations are in place
• Develop and maintain business continuity and crisis management plans and protocols
• Promote risk culture and awareness to all business units and stakeholders
• Design and conduct risk-based trainings to the business partners and Executives
• Conduct regular quality assurance program to ensure the effectiveness and high standard of risk assessments as required by the group
• Prepare periodic Enterprise Risk Management reports for the Board of Directors Committee
• Liaise with internal team and external vendors on the maintenance and enhancement of Enterprise Risk Management system for the Group
• Support any ad-hoc tasks as requested by the management

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Risk Management, Accounting, Corporate Governance, health & safety, or business related discipline
• Minimum 8 years of risk management experience in listed company, multinational companies or conglomerates at group or regional level
• Sound knowledge of Risk Management Frameworks, HKEx requirements especially Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) matters
• Professional qualifications in Risk Management, Accounting, Corporate Governance and ESG would be an advantange
• Proven track record in project management and change management
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English. Proficiency in Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) is highly desirable
• Candidate with less experience may be considered as Manager Level
