Job summary

Cathay Pacific Airways Limited is seeking a Senior Project Lead in Flight Operations to own the LMS Migration and digital learning initiatives across FOP, TTS and STS. You will lead PMO setup, stakeholder engagement and change management to ensure on-time, within-scope delivery in a complex regulatory environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in HR, IT or related Business fields.
• 8+ years’ experience in HR and project management.
• Proficient in English (spoken and written).
• Strong people management, negotiation and communication skills, with a strong analytical and logical mind-set.
• Analytical aptitude with background in optimisation activities.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
• Experience in the airline industry would be advantageous.
• Experience in HRIS project implementation would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead three project workstreams implementing the new digital learning solution across FOP, Technical Training School (TTS) and Safety Training School (STS).
• Establish and maintain a Project Management Office (PMO) within FOP, covering governance, reporting, risk management and project delivery standards.
• Analyse business unit requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to design and configure solutions supporting the digital employee experience strategy and other technology initiatives.
• Coordinate business units, vendors, system integrators and other stakeholders as the primary liaison, while managing project plans, milestones, deliverables, dependencies and timelines.
• Drive the prioritisation of digital enhancements and system developments with FOP subject matter experts (SMEs) and IT teams, while leading assigned improvement initiatives and supporting major transformation programmes.
• Evaluate emerging HR and learning technologies through industry research and recommend solutions based on their potential benefits, risks and implementation considerations.
• Apply structured change management methodologies and tools, including impact assessments, organisational readiness evaluations, stakeholder identification and mitigation planning, to support successful adoption.
• Ensure system designs, processes and deliverables comply with applicable regulatory and operational requirements by coordinating with SMEs and key stakeholders.
• Develop project communication plans and support the design, development and delivery of training programmes and materials to keep stakeholders engaged and prepare users for change.
• Partner with internal IT teams and external vendors to plan and execute end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT), monitor defects and drive timely resolution of system issues.
