Job summary

HKSH Medical Group Limited in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Architect to design and optimize the enterprise infrastructure that supports hospital services, ensuring high reliability and availability. You will drive capacity planning, monitor performance, and lead modernization efforts while enforcing strict cybersecurity and data privacy standards.

The role requires leadership of cross-functional teams and fluent English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• University degree in IT or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of IT infrastructure planning experience.
• Expertise in data center, virtualization, storage, HA/DR.
• Strong system architecture and design pattern knowledge.
• Proven cross-functional project leadership.
• Hands-on cybersecurity, network segmentation, zero-trust, data privacy.
• Fluent in English and Chinese.

Job description

Architect, design and optimise enterprise infrastructure systems to ensure highly reliable and available support for hospital services;

Monitor and tune infrastructure performance through capacity planning, design review and load/resource re-distribution;

Enforce strict cybersecurity standards and compliance protocols to safeguard data;

Drive infrastructure modernization in alignment with overarching hospital goals;

Provide high-level technical guidance and escalation support for daily infrastructure operations;

Establish operational standards for infrastructure systems including but not limited to Data Centers, server/network and application platforms, and storage systems;

Supervise the infrastructure teams, setting clear operational goals and performance metrics;

Manage team workloads and mentor staff to build technical capabilities.

Requirements:

University Degree in Information Technology or equivalent;

Minimum 15 years related experience in IT Infrastructural Set Up and Planning;

Solid technical expertise in Data Center, virtualization, storage, and High Availability/Disaster Recovery solutions;

Strong knowledge of system architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices;

Strong project management capabilities with experience leading cross-functional teams;

Strong hands-on experience in cybersecurity controls, network segmentation, zero-trust framework, and data privacy protocols;

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex technical challenges under pressure;

Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese;

Experience within the healthcare, hospital operations or regulated medical services industry is highly desirable.
