Job summary

CL Technical Services Ltd. is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer with strong Linux administration experience in Hong Kong. The role emphasizes safeguarding systems, proactive monitoring, asset inventory, and rapid incident response, including after-hours on-call support.

You will lead automation of workflows, perform routine maintenance, and maintain clear technical documentation to ensure stable and secure IT infrastructure across servers and virtualization environments.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
• 5+ years in IT industry with Linux system administration.
• Experience in administration, maintenance and support of IT infrastructure (servers/virtualization).
• Experience with Ansible Web eXecutable, Linux OS administration.
• Experience with monitoring and log analysis tools.
• Nice to have: Terraform, Open Source monitoring platforms, visualization tools.

Infrastructure Engineer (Linux, over $55K)

Safeguard system and data integrity, confidentiality, and availability through proactive planning, implementation, and continuous monitoring.

Maintain and regularly update a comprehensive inventory of all hardware and software assets.

Oversee the overall health and performance of systems through vigilant monitoring.

Provide rapid response and resolution for incidents and critical issues, including on-call support outside of standard business hours.

Spearhead the automation of support and operational workflows to enhance efficiency.

Execute routine maintenance updates to ensure system stability and security.

Develop and maintain clear, accurate technical documentation for all processes.

Requirements:

Higher Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or its equivalent

At least 5 years’ experience in IT industry

At least 5 years’ experience in Linux System Administration

At least 5 years’ experience in administration, maintenance and support of IT infrastructure systems (servers and server virtualization)

Experience in working with Ansible Web eXecutable, Linux OS administration

Experience in monitoring tool and log analysis tool
