AIA Company Limited is seeking a seasoned governance and risk leader to manage the Policy Owner Service department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and driving risk management across the organization.

The role involves leading a team, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and delivering projects to embed risk and compliance into day-to-day insurance operations in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 10 years in insurance operations with supervisory experience.
• Strong business knowledge of insurance operations.
• Experience in process review and managing similar job natures.
• Experience in project management or business analysis is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Result-oriented, aggressive, and innovative.
• Proactive in problem solving in a fast-moving industry.
• Demonstrated sophisticated analytic capacity and business thinking.

Responsibilities

• Maintain governance and risk oversight for the department and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Lead risk management & internal audit activities including annual/ad-hoc audits and regulatory reporting.
• Develop and implement plans to revise or add controls to address deficiencies and ensure POS compliance.
• Coordinate with other teams and departments to embed risk and compliance in daily operations of POS.
• Manage initiatives and projects to align with company strategies on compliance or regulatory aspects.
• Liaise with external parties to deliver projects and ensure solid deliverables.
