Job summary

PFCC Group is seeking a Lead AI Developer in Hong Kong to drive AI solutions from prototype to production. You will lead a team of AI engineers, develop AI applications using RAG, AI agents, and workflows, and collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable AI systems.

The role emphasizes leadership, hands-on Python/SQL, and experience with modern AI tooling and cloud platforms. Strong communication and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years in AI/engineering, data science, or related field.
• Proven experience delivering RAG or AI applications.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Hands-on Python and SQL programming.
• Experience with LLMs, AI orchestration, and vector DBs (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Milvus, Elasticsearch, Qdrant).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Alibaba Cloud.
• Knowledge of MLOps/LLMOps, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD a plus.
• Web app development with React/Next.js/TypeScript is a plus.
• Financial services or large-scale enterprise experience preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of AI applications using RAG, AI agents, and AI workflows.
• Take AI solutions from prototyping through testing and production across the SDLC.
• Develop services and integrate APIs and MCPs to support AI apps.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Platform Engineers, Product Owners, and stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of AI Engineers across multiple projects.
• Evaluate emerging AI tech and apply to enterprise use cases.
