Job summary

Recruit Squad Limited in Hong Kong is looking for a senior AI/ML engineering lead to take AI applications from prototype to production, with rigorous evaluation and testing across the SDLC.

You will mentor a team of AI engineers, collaborate with data scientists, platform engineers and product owners to deliver scalable AI services, and keep pace with new technologies. Experience with RAG projects and cloud platforms is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience in data science, software engineering or AI engineering.
• Experience delivering RAG applications or other AI applications.
• Experience in leading and mentoring a team.
• Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, AliCloud) and related certifications preferred.
• Experience with MLOps/LLMOps at large scale.
• Experience in Web App development (e.g., Next.js, React, TypeScript).

Job description

Work closely with business stakeholders to develop innovative AI application using various AI technology, e.g., RAG, workflow and AI agent.

Bring the AI application from prototyping stage to production with proper evaluation and testing throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).

Develop services and integrate them with internal and external APIs / MCPs to power AI applications.

Work closely with Data Scientists, Platform Engineers and Product Owners to deliver AI application in a continuous delivery environment.

Keep pace with new technologies and promote them across the organization whenever appropriate.

Mentor and lead a team of AI engineers, and manage the delivery timeline and scope of multiple AI projects.

Requirements:

University degree in computer science, software engineering, or related fields - At least 6 years of experience in data science, software engineering or AI engineering

Experience in delivery of RAG application or other AI application is a must

Experience in leading and mentoring a team is a must.

Experience in public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, AliCloud) and having any relevant certification is preferable. - Experience in system design and software development lifecycle is a preferable.

Experience with MLOps/LLMOps in a large scale enterprise environment is a preferable

Experience in Web Application development is an advantage (e.g.: NextJs, React, Typescript)

Experience in the following technology stack is preferable:

Programming: Python, SQL

CICD Suite: Jenkins, JIRA, Sonar, Git, Ansible

Test Framework: jMeter, jUnit, PyTest

• Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English, Cantonese and/or Mandarin
