Job summary

The University of Hong Kong is seeking a Facilities Assistant in the Safety Office to commence in December 2026 on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and retirement benefits.

The appointee will assist in inspections, testing and problem solving of laboratory safety equipment, implement an environmental monitoring programme, and perform other duties as required. Salary is highly competitive and includes annual leave and medical benefits.

Qualifications

• Form 5 or equivalent.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Ability to work independently in various settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in inspections, testing and problem solving of laboratory safety equipment.
• Implement an environmental monitoring programme on University premises.
• Perform other duties as required.
