Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services APAC is seeking an experienced Unix/Infrastructure specialist to join our global Operations team. You will manage Level L3 Unix operations, oversee Solaris and Unix platforms, and ensure robust, scalable core infrastructure across our worldwide footprint.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting, managing and debugging large-scale production environments.
• Understanding of virtualization and microservices and physical infrastructures.
• Knowledge of clustering technologies (Veritas or similar) with high-availability concepts.
• Ability to read and write code in Unix shell, Perl and/or Python.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, host-level networking and security concepts, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to debug complex problems.
• Experience with Change Management and Problem management practices.

Technical Skills “Must Have”

• Experience of supporting, managing and debugging large-scale production environments.
• Understanding of the virtualization and microservices and physical infrastructures.
• Knowledge of clustering technologies is preferable to Veritas Cluster Server or any other similar with high availability product conception.
• Ability to read and write code on any Unix shell environment, Perl and/or Python
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, experience with host level networking and security concepts, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to debug complex problems.
• Experience with Change Management and Problem management practices.

Technical Skills “Good to Have”

• Understanding of SANs and NAS Storage Devices.
• Knowledge of Veritas Cluster Server or similar high availability product
