Job summary

mthree is seeking a motivated Junior Project Manager with Business Analysis experience to support banking transformation initiatives. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, operations, product owners, and third-party vendors to deliver change across the organisation.

Ideal candidates have experience in Financial Services, banking, and supporting transformation programmes, with a capability to operate in both project delivery and business analysis disciplines.

Qualifications

• Experience in Financial Services or Banking environments.
• Hybrid PM/BA role experience (PM/BA).
• Experience delivering business transformation and change initiatives.
• Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills.
• Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Knowledge of agile, scrum, waterfall, or hybrid delivery methods.
• Ability to coordinate across Product, Technology, Operations and vendors.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in Lending, Cards or retail banking products is a plus.
• Knowledge of banking regulatory and compliance considerations.
• Professional certifications such as PRINCE2 Foundation, Agile Foundation, Scrum or BCS Business Analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end delivery of business and technology change initiatives.
• Assist in planning, tracking, and reporting project progress, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Coordinate activities across product, technology, operations, and vendor teams.
• Ensure project milestones, deliverables, and timelines are achieved.
• Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and stakeholder updates.
• Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements.
• Produce high-quality business requirements documents, process maps, and functional specifications.
• Write and manage user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable requirements.
• Support requirements prioritisation and backlog management.
• Build effective relationships with business, technology, operations, and external partners.
• Act as a key liaison between delivery teams and business stakeholders.
• Support communication and change management activities throughout the project lifecycle.
