We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Junior Project Manager with Business Analysis experience to join our Banking Transformation team. This role will support the delivery of strategic business and technology change initiatives across the organisation, working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, operations teams, product owners, and third-party vendors.
The successful candidate will have experience working within Financial Services, ideally supporting business transformation programmes, and will be comfortable operating across both project delivery and business analysis disciplines.
Experience within Lending and/or Cards domains would be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery
- Support the end-to-end delivery of business and technology change initiatives.
- Assist in planning, tracking, and reporting project progress, risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Coordinate activities across product, technology, operations, and vendor teams.
- Ensure project milestones, deliverables, and timelines are achieved.
- Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and stakeholder updates.
Business Analysis
- Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements.
- Produce high-quality business requirements documents, process maps, and functional specifications.
- Write and manage user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable requirements.
- Support requirements prioritisation and backlog management.
Stakeholder Management
- Build effective relationships with business, technology, operations, and external partners.
- Act as a key liaison between delivery teams and business stakeholders.
- Support communication and change management activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience working within Financial Services or Banking environments.
- Previous experience in a Junior Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Business Analyst, or hybrid PM/BA role.
- Experience supporting business transformation and change initiatives.
- Strong experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Understanding of project delivery methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
- Ability to work across multiple stakeholder groups including Product, Technology, Operations, and third-party vendors.
- Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience within Lending, Cards, or wider retail banking products.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance considerations within banking.
- Professional certifications such as PRINCE2 Foundation, Agile Foundation, Scrum, or BCS Business Analysis.
